1. 我们收集的信息1. Information We Collect

我们会收集您主动提供的个人信息（例如：姓名、手机号、电子邮箱地址），以及您使用我们网站时自动收集的技术信息（例如：IP 地址、浏览器类型）。We collect personal information you provide to us (for example your name, mobile number and email address), and technical information collected automatically when you use our site (for example your IP address and browser type).

当您使用 SAT在线练习、雅思 AI 考试中心或我们的在线课程时，我们还会收集：作答记录、得分与段位换算结果、错题与重测记录、每题用时等练习数据；以及您为使用 AI 写作批改而提交的作文文本（雅思 AI 考试中心还会保存您尚未提交的写作草稿）和您的口语回答。口语回答的处理方式因功能而异：在课程单元的口语练习中，我们会保存您的语音录音及其转写文字与评分；在雅思 AI 考试中心的口语练习中，我们会保存您每次练习的语音录音、识别文字、AI 练习估分与反馈，以及老师给出的评分，并把完整模考的 AI 练习估分记入您的能力画像，详见第 4 节。此前 AI 口语考官（已停用）保存的口语文字记录（逐字稿）与评分报告，仍保留在您的学习记录中。部分免费功能无需注册即可使用，此时我们仅收集完成该功能所必需的练习数据，不收集您的身份信息。When you use the Digital SAT Question Bank, the IELTS AI Exam Center or one of our online courses we also collect practice data: your answers, scores and band conversions, your mistakes and re-test records, and the time spent on each question; together with the essay text you submit for AI Writing marking (the IELTS AI Exam Center also saves writing drafts you have not yet submitted) and your spoken answers. How a spoken answer is handled depends on the feature. In the speaking exercises inside course lessons we keep your voice recording together with its transcript and marking. In Speaking practice in the IELTS AI Exam Center we keep the voice recordings, recognised text, AI practice estimate and feedback of every practice, and any marks a teacher gives, and we add the AI practice estimate of a full mock to your skill profile; see section 4. Speaking transcripts and score reports saved by the former AI Speaking examiner (now retired) remain in your learning record. Some free features work without an account; there we collect only the practice data that feature needs, and not your identity.

We collect them only when you start a recording yourself. Speaking practice in the IELTS AI Exam Center is covered in section 4. In the speaking exercises inside course lessons, the recording is sent to the speech-recognition service of Tencent Cloud to be turned into text. The transcript and your essays are sent to the AI service of DeepSeek to produce your score and comments. Recordings made in the speaking exercises inside course lessons are stored in Tencent Cloud Object Storage: besides producing your score and comments, they are kept so that you, the teachers and parents linked to you, and the authorised staff described in section 6 can listen to them later. Since 21 July 2026 we do not keep raw recordings from the AI Speaking examiner; before that date the examiner did keep raw recordings, which are not linked to any account and are still kept. If you would like them deleted, contact us at the address below and tell us roughly when you practised. Those providers may process the data only on our instructions and for no other purpose. We do not use your recordings or essays to train our own models unless you separately agree. Whether you record is up to you: not recording does not affect the rest of the practice centres or unlocking course units, but a course unit that contains a speaking exercise can only be handed in once every exercise in it, including the recording, is done.

Before each practice we ask you to agree separately to the processing below (including keeping your recordings and practice records), and to state either that you are 14 or older, or that you are a parent or guardian who has read the notice and agrees on the learner’s behalf:

• 识别与合成：您回答时，录音会实时发送给我们委托的第三方云端语音识别服务转成文字；考官的题目语音由我们委托的第三方语音合成服务生成。Recognition and synthesis: while you answer, the recording is streamed to a third-party cloud speech-recognition service we engage, which turns it into text; the examiner’s questions are voiced by a third-party speech-synthesis service we engage.
• AI 练习估分：测试完成后，本次的题目、识别出的文字和答题时长等统计（不含录音）会发送给我们委托的第三方 AI 模型服务，生成 AI 练习估分和反馈。估分仅供参考，不代表真实雅思成绩。AI practice estimate: when the test is finished, its questions, the recognised text and statistics such as answer lengths (not the recording) are sent to a third-party AI model service we engage, which produces an AI practice estimate and feedback. The estimate is for reference only and is not a real IELTS result.
• 发音测量（开启时）：每段回答的录音还会在回答的同时实时发送给我们委托的第三方发音评测服务；测量结果会交给上述 AI 模型服务，用于推算估分中的发音分。Pronunciation measurement (when switched on): each answer’s recording is also streamed, as you speak, to a third-party pronunciation-assessment service we engage; its measurements are passed to the AI model service above to work out the pronunciation part of the estimate.
• 保存录音与练习记录：每次练习（完整模考和单项练习）中每段回答的录音，会从您的浏览器直接上传到我们委托的、位于中国境内的云存储服务；识别文字、AI 练习估分及其依据、反馈和答题时间保存在我们位于中国境内的服务器；笔记不会上传。上述处理均在中国境内进行。这些受托方只能按我们的指示处理，不得用于其他目的；它们在处理时可能按其规则留下处理记录。Recordings and practice records we keep: the recording of every answer in every practice (full mocks and single parts) is uploaded from your browser straight to a cloud storage service in mainland China that we engage; the recognised text, the AI practice estimate with its evidence, the feedback and the answer timings are kept on our servers in mainland China; notes are not uploaded. All of this processing takes place in mainland China. These processors may act only on our instructions and for no other purpose; they may keep processing logs under their own rules.

They are kept like other practice data (see section 9). The estimate of a single-part practice is not added to the skill profile, but it is kept in the practice record as described above.

Anyone using that device can play it; you can delete it under “我的录音” (My recordings). Recordings wait in your browser until they are uploaded and are then removed from it; an upload that did not finish is resumed the next time you open Speaking practice, and recordings still waiting after 14 days are deleted. Deleting the device copy does not delete the recordings we keep.

The server also records daily practice counts and costs under a de-identified number, kept for 35 days; an estimate that could not yet be added to your skill profile is kept for at most 33 days. Each time a teacher or administrator listens to a recording, opens a practice record or gives marks, we record who did it and when, and keep that record for 3 years for security auditing. A practice record that could not yet be saved stays in a temporary queue on the server for at most 14 days.
• 撤回与删除：您可以随时按“结束练习”停止本次练习；已经录下的回答仍会上传并保存。如需删除已保存的口语录音、文字、估分或老师的评分，或撤回同意，请由您本人或您的监护人按第 14 节的邮箱联系我们，由我们的管理员办理；撤回同意后，该账户不能再开始口语练习，我们会删除已保存的口语录音和文字。Withdrawal and deletion: you can stop a practice at any time with “结束练习” (End practice); answers already recorded are still uploaded and kept. To delete kept recordings, texts, estimates or teacher marks, or to withdraw consent, you or your guardian can write to the address in section 14 and our administrators will do it; after a withdrawal the account can no longer start Speaking practice, and we delete the recordings and texts we kept.

We may share what is necessary with the processors who provide us with payment, cloud storage and AI processing, so that we can run the service; and where you use the service through a school or a parent account, we show your progress and scores to that school or parent. In addition, an account we have linked to you as your teacher or parent, and our staff who are authorised to view learner records, can read the essays you submit in the IELTS AI Exam Center, the speaking transcripts saved there before, and the Speaking practice scores in your skill profile, and can listen to the recordings you keep in the speaking exercises inside course lessons, together with their transcripts and marking. The teachers linked to you and our authorised administrators can also listen to the recordings kept from your IELTS Speaking practice, read their recognised text, estimates and feedback, and mark them. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

Unless those measures effectively prevent harm, we will also tell the people affected what happened, what harm it may cause, what we have done, and what they can do to reduce the harm.

Practice data is kept while the account exists so that you can review your progress. Voice recordings you keep in the speaking exercises inside course lessons and in IELTS Speaking practice, and your essays and speaking transcripts, are kept at most for as long as your account exists: the system does not delete them after a fixed time. Recordings from the speaking exercises inside course lessons, and essays and speaking transcripts, are kept at most until you delete them, ask us to delete them, or close your account, so that you can go back to them later and, as described in section 6, the teachers, parents and staff concerned can see them; IELTS Speaking practice recordings, texts and marks are kept at most until you or your guardian ask us to delete them or you close your account, so that the teachers and administrators named in section 4 can listen to and mark them. The IELTS AI Exam Center keeps only your most recent 300 practice attempts; older ones are removed automatically. How long the device copies, consent records and usage records of Speaking practice are kept is set out in section 4. A writing draft you have not submitted can no longer be resumed once you submit or discard that attempt, but its text stays in your learning record. Text and records that you or we delete may remain in our database backups for up to about 8 weeks, until those backups are deleted in rotation; during that time we do nothing with it other than store it and keep it secure. Recordings and essays collected before 25 September 2026 under the policy then in force will, if you do not agree to the later versions, still be deleted on that schedule (recordings 90 days after marking, essays after 12 months).

您有权查阅、复制、更正、补充或删除您的个人数据，有权要求我们解释个人信息处理规则，有权撤回您已作出的同意，并可以申请注销账户或选择退出接收我们的营销通讯。撤回同意不影响撤回前基于同意已进行的处理。在您可以访问某一课程单元时，您可以在该单元中逐条删除自己保存的录音或作文；其他删除（包括您已无法访问的课程单元，雅思 AI 考试中心的作文与口语文字记录，雅思口语练习的录音、文字与评分，以及能力画像中的口语练习分数）、撤回同意和注销账户，请通过下方邮箱联系我们办理。我们将在收到请求后 15 个工作日内答复。如我们拒绝请求，会一并说明理由。You may access, copy, correct, supplement or delete your personal data, ask us to explain how we handle personal information, withdraw a consent you have given, and apply to close your account or opt out of marketing. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out on that consent. While you have access to a course unit you can delete any recording or essay you have kept in it, one at a time. For any other deletion (including course units you can no longer open, essays and speaking transcripts in the IELTS AI Exam Center, IELTS Speaking practice recordings, texts and marks, and the Speaking practice scores in your skill profile), to withdraw consent, or to close your account, contact us at the address below. We will reply within 15 business days of receiving your request, and if we refuse it we will tell you why.

11. 未成年人11. Minors

本服务面向中学及以上学习者。不满 14 周岁的儿童使用本服务前，须由其父母或其他监护人阅读本政策并同意；我们仅在取得监护人同意后收集其个人信息。口语练习每次开始前，会请使用者声明已满 14 周岁，或由家长或监护人代为同意。监护人可以随时联系我们，查阅、更正或删除被监护人的个人信息，或撤回同意。如我们发现在未取得监护人同意的情况下收集了儿童个人信息，将尽快删除。雅思口语练习会保存录音；不满 14 周岁的学员，须由家长或监护人阅读第 4 节并代为同意后才能使用，监护人可以随时要求删除这些录音。This service is intended for learners of secondary-school age and above. Before a child under 14 uses it, a parent or other guardian must read this policy and agree to it; we collect a child’s personal information only with that consent. Before each Speaking practice we ask the user to state that they are 14 or older, or that a parent or guardian agrees on their behalf. A guardian may contact us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about the child, or to withdraw consent. If we find we have collected a child’s information without a guardian’s consent, we will delete it promptly. IELTS Speaking practice keeps recordings; learners under 14 may use it only after a parent or guardian has read section 4 and agreed on their behalf, and the guardian may ask us to delete these recordings at any time.
